Workday Pattern Library
With over 400 product pattern submissions and countless hours of review, the Workday Pattern Library has become a widely adopted resource across the company. It has sparked deeper conversations around pattern classification and encouraged teams to be more intentional during both the design and development phases. Contributions continue to grow, and the Pattern Library Team remains committed to evolving this scalable, high-impact tool that supports consistency and efficiency across Workday’s ecosystem.

Overview
Our internal Systems Team recognized the need for a trusted, Workday-wide design pattern library—one that could serve as a verified resource for product teams building new or modified experiences. As the longest-tenured contributor across both Design Systems and the UI Platform, and a member of the Design System Council, I stepped into the Librarian role to lead this company-wide initiative, ensuring quality, consistency, and usability at scale.
